It was like visiting a Star Hotel than a work place. Starting from the Reception to Cafeteria everything is designed with the purpose, artistically.
They have brainstorming rooms with wall to scribble, quiet think-tank corners, lobby and open places which provide an ambience to innovate and excel.
Every department has its own micro kitchen, vending machine with all sorts of soft drinks, healthy staples.
The main cafeteria has a juice corner where you can make your own juice. Soup with different flavours, Salad counter, various cuisines like Western, Chinese, Indian, Peranakan etc. Also, you can find a ice cream stall, ice kachang hut and a coffee shop.
All you can have without paying a single cent, if you are an employee or guests of this organization. You know something, I had lunch there and it was really nice with quite bit of spread.
There is a fully equipped Gym, Games room, Music room, Spa and Saloon inside the office. If an employee wants to take a nap, they have a sleeping room as well:) There is also a Wellness Garden where you can wander around. Basket Ball court outside the office premises for the employees. But I couldn’t manage to see those because of the entry restrictions.
The office is spread across 3 buildings in 15 floors together. You can walk up the stairs to reach out to design or engineering or any other divisions.
If you are wondering which office I am referring to, it’s nothing but Google’s Office. I am not referring to the one in US or any other country but Google’s APAC headquarters opened last year in Singapore.
